PTFE MEMBRANE FILTERS
Broad-Spectrum Compatibility • Inert Stability • Extreme Temperature Resistance**
Description
Hydrophobic PTFE membrane filters have excellent chemical stability and inertness. They are mainly used for filtration of strong chemically corrosive organic solvents, filtration of strong acid solvents, gas filtration, and steam filters.
Our hydrophobic PTFE membrane filters deliver high performance with extremely low background contamination. Available in a full range of pore sizes and diameters, these filters accommodate small orders and offer OEM service with customized sizes. Both round disc and roll types are available for strong/aggressive acids, bases, and solvents incompatible with most other filtration media.
Features & Benefits

• Biologically and chemically inert
• Stable at temperatures in excess of 260°C (500°F) and below -100°C (-148°F)
• Extremely low background contamination
• Available in various pore sizes and diameters
• Compatible with aggressive chemicals
• High flow rates with low pressure drops
Applications
Air and Gas Filtration
PTFE membrane filters are used for air and gas filtration in cleanrooms, laboratories, and industrial processes to remove particles, aerosols, and microorganisms while maintaining high flow rates and low pressure drops.
Liquid Filtration
They are utilized for liquid filtration applications, including the filtration of solvents, acids, bases, oils, and aqueous solutions in chemical synthesis, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and industrial processes.
Microbial Filtration
PTFE membrane filters with pore sizes below 0.2 microns are employed for microbial filtration and sterilization of liquids and gases, particularly in microbiology, biotechnology, and medical device manufacturing.
Environmental Monitoring
PTFE membrane filters are used in environmental monitoring and air quality testing to collect particulate matter, airborne pollutants, and contaminants for analysis and regulatory compliance.
Biological and Life Sciences
They find applications in biological and life sciences for filtering cell culture media, buffers, reagents, and biological samples in research, bioprocessing, and diagnostic assays.
